He begins his letter with an offering saying that he seize for try to explain his actions. He claims that he is there in prison because he has organizational ties there and that he was invited. He is in Birmingham to resolve the unjust ways of the sinlessness swarm and to spread the word of freedom to all African Americans. His retort to the Clergymen clarified that the protests for desegregation was very necessary, and by no means, untimely. In his essay, King attacks the unfairness and corruption of segregation and argues against it . Segregat ion is believed to be wrong on all accounts: religiously wrong, morally wrong, socially wrong, and sinful. His letter claims that segregation damages the soul and ones personality. King says that both law that does this is an unjust law.
